Field of Expertise
Insea Quality Services is a consultancy company with a high level of competency and experience in both inshore and offshore subsea operations. Most of our consultants have many years of experience in this field. Currently we represent 15 consultants.
Our comprehensive expertise includes, but is not limited to, the following disciplines:
- Supervision of manned underwater operations on behalf of operators offshore.
- Preparation, planning and quality assurance in manned underwater operations.
- Supervision of ROV operations.
- Auditing and verification of support vessels and contractors/suppliers.
- Expert competencies in hyperbaric welding.
- HSEQ and LEAN advisors.
Insea Quality Services has an extensive network of contacts, developed during our many years in the industry. We value our positive relationship with both operators and contractors in the Norwegian sector, and regard this as a positive asset. Another advantage is our flexibility, made possible by our small organisational structure.
Insea Quality Services has established frame contracts with ConocoPhillips, Lundin, Shell and Technip. We also have consultants on contract with Eni Norge, Equinor, Point Resources and Transocean.
We are a world-wide Personnel Agency Member of IMCA.
Inseacon AS was established in 1987 as an independent marine and subsea engineering company. Since the start-up of the company Inseacon’s main customers have been from the oil and gas industry. We have worked with the majority of the operators in the Norwegian sector. Through the years, Inseacon has provided engineering services and personnel to a number of significant subsea development projects. Inseacon Services was established as a sister company to Inseacon AS in 2003. This was done to distinguish between the consultancy business and the in-house engineering services. In November 2015 we changed our name to Insea Quality Services.
